What is an oxygen dome facial?

Our oxygen facial involves incorporting a special Dome which is placed over the head to deliver a gentle, controlled mist of oxygen onto the skin to push skin products, packed with nutrients, further into the epidermis. The stimulation also boosts circulation which means the skin can regenerate itself much faster… and this means clearer, brighter skin.

What does oxygen do to the skin?

Enriching your epidermis with oxygen can boost the amount of oxygen in your skin which is important for kickstarting elastin and collagen production as well as cell regeneration. Regular treatments can even help reduce acne and rosacea over time, as boosted oxygen levels help clear up skin complaints.

What happens in an oxygen facial?

We start with a deep double cleanse, and exfoliation with a foaming exfoliating mask. The Oxygen Infusion Serum is then added to the skin with the dome working to help the nutrient-packed mask be absorbed on a deeper level. A stream of 90% oxygen and anions is misted through the dome to improve the skin and also help you feel amazing.

How long does oxygen facial take?

The whole treatment usually takes around an hour. It’s relaxing and you’ll immediately see the results.

Is there any prep or aftercare involved?

Sensory experience...pure luxury

A quiet retreat down a long driveway probably minutes from your house. At Sculptured Cosmetics Beauty Boutique there is plenty of parking in a well designed area with ease of entry and exit. A definite plus. I was warmly greeted by Joanne, the owner and invited into a charming reception area decorated in soft rose hues and dove gray. The tea I was offered was delicious and calming, raspberry I think, then we decided upon a service.

So much to choose from so you really must visit the range of treatments she has to offer before booking. Her treatment room was softly lit with candles and barely audible music evoking a sense of calm and relaxation. The Water Lily facial we had chosen together was a sensory experience both in fragrance and the expert lightness of her touch. Pure luxury.
An unhurried atmosphere surrounded us as she expertly handled the lavish creams and hot towels that my body was in great appreciation of. I seemed to drift in and out of a very shallow, weightless tranquility and was mildly annoyed when the session was over. Can we start over please?
